1.     추가적인 The 사용

Same은 항상 the와 연결됨.

They are not the same.

 

경찰은 The police이고, 복수로 처리됨.

아침, 점심, 저녁 식사에는 The를 안붙임.

TV에도 the 안붙임.

Next/last 뒤에 요일/주/월/년/계절 일때 The없음.

I’m going on a vacation next year.

 

고유한 이름, 역/공원/학교/공항에는 The가 없음.

(그러나 어순을 Of를 써서 바꾸면 the가 붙음)
